"Phil Garret". Delivered in April 1973 as CF-DJC. Seen here ready for another charter flight to Canada. By the end of 1989 the airline was sold to Canadian Airlines and C-FDJC was acquired by Nationair.

Wardair in Frankfurt...we had such a wonderful experience with our Deutsche friends and families travelling with us. Canadians were so proud of this organization.

After many years of reflection, I realized how fortunate I was to be associated with Wardair. I cherish the many memories of work friends, some longer with us. It was so special to work with you. And to our Customers, thank-you for the opportunity to be of service to you.

I was lucky enough to have flown on the 'Phil Garret' two times. I was a young teen and flew to Prestwick Scotland in 1977 and then again in the late 80's to Acapulco Mexico. Wardair was a great airline, we need something like that back again. Back in 1977 The Phil Garret was my first time on a airliner and a 747 at that. Great memories.
