Hi:
The name is Bob. I got to fly this particular aircraft for 9 1/2 years. It was wonderful to fly, and it was always so well maintained. Wardair was a class act all of its own. What a job, and to think they paid me to fly this. WOW !

I knew Wardair as a prairie boy, growing up in Alberta. My fascination of this amazing organization grew and my desire to be part of it became a reality in 1978. Many years later, the organization exists, only in my memory. But the people that worked for this company, many in very different careers, carry that wonderful experience of this truly Canadian phenomem.

I loved flying Wardair in the 80's. This company had style!! I flew on this 747 to Jamaica in 1984. My first Jumbo Jet ride!!! When I saw it through the glass at Pearson I was very excited to get on board. Wardair kept the upper deck as a lounge, just like in the movies. It was friggin great fun. We all felt pretty proud getting off this thing in Montego Bay. I even got to go in the cockpit. Ahh for the good old days of flying!
