Decided to do a wide crop to show the beautiful Cumulonimbus calvus cloud behind this arriving 737 from Calgary [CYYC].

Great cloud formation indeed... Guess people should more often look at the clouds and realize the beauty of nature is all around, pretty much like following U2's message in their song "beautiful day".
Btw didn't know there was a "London" in Canada too.

Mark, you nailed this one! I love it.

btw, there was an Air Canada E190 at YXU for Calgary the day after Canada Day...wish those went in there more often, but the 737-700 w/ winglets is beautiful.

Nice contrast from the crisp lines of the masked bandit to the softness of the billowing clouds behind. Great shot!

That looks like some violent air being created in those towering cumulo-nimbus.

The framing of the photo with the cloud behind it makes it much more then just about the aircraft.

The Framing of this shot creates far more interest than the run of the mill approach. 5 stars!

I just hope he didn't fly through that thing!
Might scare the pax! (and the flight crew!)

The cloud background really makes this picture. The landing gear seems out of place without seeing the ground
