N901RC (cn 15) Here's an interesting concept: put a Chevrolet engine into an airplane! Bud Warren has invented a propeller speed reduction unit which allows a Chevy small-block V8 car engine to be hooked up to a 3-blade prop. The engine in this plane is a 400 cu. in, 350hp model and has successfully flown over 450 hours in testing. It is capable of 175kts top speed.
