A visitor from Turkey posted Sun June 1, 2008: This reminds me the Egypt Air 707 that skid off the runway and stopped few meters from rail tracks at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. That incident was more interesting because the 707 collided with a taxi.

By the way: the crash with about 100 fatalities was 10 years ago at Eschede and not with this ICE3-type. The youngest ICE-accident one month ago had no fatalities, but looked like this 747: scary.

A visitor from Sweden posted Mon May 26, 2008: Imagine what would have happened if the plane had fallen onto the tracks and a train had hit it. They had a lot of luck in this accident (only a broken freight 747 and four injured crew, no fatalities).
