RA-0225G / 32 RED Take-Off! The Yak-32 (Mantis) was a single-seat version of the Yakovlev Yak-30, and be the world's first sporting aircraft with an ejection seat (Yak-104PS). The Yak-30 was Yakovlev's entry in a competition for the first military jet trainer aircraft designed for Warsaw Pact nations. Designed to succeed the Yak-17UTI. Yak-30 participated in competition together with L-29 Delfin and TS-11 Iskra. Yak-30 by results of tests, has shown the best results, but for the political reasons has been chosen L-29.
