D-FLAK / 00 (cn 470202) This Yak belongs to eleven new built aircraft manufactured by Yakovlev company and powered by Allison engine. This warbird was in early 2005 bought by Meier Motors in Freiburg, Germany and registered D-FLAK. One week after taking this photo was damaged during LeBourget airshow on 12 June 2005 in ground collision with Falcon 900EX. Although is built as Yak-9, wears WW2 livery of Yak-3 "white infinity" of the Colonel Louis Delfino, commander of the 303. IAD (fighter air division) "Normandie Niemen" from the end of 1944.
