The first class cabin or La Premiere as Air France calls it.

--Very realistic photo of a rather poor first class.

Air France should really think a bit more about its First Class. It looks very strange. Nice seats but the back rests are visibly too short for tall passengers and, of course, they should think of making people a bit more separated from each other by some kind of partition between the middle rows. Also, the pitch can be described as TIGHT by the modern first class cabin standards.

Well done, very elegant/luxurious 1st class by AF!!! They clearly understand that nowadays luxury is about space and it is not being locked in a box like too many A380 operators seem to forget. I don't understand why people would want to be locked in those boxes for more than 10 hours... At least here the cabin offers plenty of light which offers great natural light for reading and also has a positive effect on the fatigue due to long flights. People can look around the cabin and even socialise should they want to. Why would airlines want to create barriers between people where the society in which we live already does that pretty well... Always a pleasure to fly Air France!!!

People want "to be locked in those boxes" because they want PRIVACY. That's actually what they pay for. They want a "barrier" between them and another person who might be unpleasant, talkative, vulgar... Just imagine yourself, visitor from UK, sitting next to a person who reads Guardian!

And should you want to "socialize", I'm sure the crew will find a person in the economy class who will switch seats.

I understand both sides of the F-class argument, but I'd rather choose AF's airy cabin over EK's suites of privacy.
The Five stars go to the use of a normal lens (I hate fish eyes) and the big catch.
