Inaugural flight from Auckland. "Lord of the Rings" is seen here three minutes after touching down on runway 28R. It has just began to resume taxiing shortly after holding short of 28L on taxiway K. While on short finals minutes earlier someone requested the Control Tower for a flyby to allow photographers an opportunity to shoot pictures but before anyone could reply an ANZ crewmember promptly but courteously responded, "Air New Zealand is going to land."
