The Tiger moths were produced in large numbers for WW2 service as basic Pilot Trainer, DH-82's Entered into service with the RAF ("several thousand of") in 1932. DH-82A's were introduced 1937 and were the most produced version and during WW2 some 4000 were built in the UK, and were powered by a Gypsy Major 97KW (130HP) Engine.
