An RAAF Sabre at RAAF Base Wagga in March 1983. A94-970 was a Training Aid - shown on jacks, without wheels. The Sabre, also known as the 'Sword', was fitted with a Rolls Royce Avon engine. A94-970 (Del: July 1957), wears 5 Operational Training Unit (5OTU) markings. This aircraft was to be transferred to the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) in March 1973. However, she was restored and exhibited at the RAAF Richmond Bi-Centenniel Air Display in October 1988.
