"City of London". To "Rutland Water" later. This Speedbird is seen on runway 23 holding short of runway 27L. First flight was July 30, 1971. Delivery date was September 8, 1971 to BOAC. BOAC & BEA became British Airways merging in April 1974. Wears FN NG with British Airways. Broken-up at ROW (Roswell) in 1999 as G-AWNG. Her cockpit / nose section is preserved at Hiller Avia Museum at SQL (San Carlos) in California. There's a Pan Am 747 hiding next to Field's.
