The most numerous users of Heathrow throughout the ‘seventies were the Tridents of BEA and its successor British Airways. This picture shows a Trident 3B (still wearing its BEA livery but with British Airways titles) turning in towards its gate on arrival at Heathrow on a cold November afternoon as the light fades. This view shows the Trident’s curiously off-set nosewheel to advantage. In the background, an Air India 747 and a British Airtours 707 queue to depart as an HS125 taxies in.

This is an interesting angle showing the nosewheel arrangement. Also, the detailed caption adds greatly to the value of the image - well done!
