Seen here with the yellow ribbon. Originally delivered to Qantas as VH-EBE 8/72. Became N609PE with People Express 5/86. In service with Continental 2/87 - 5/93. Leased to Tower Air as N614FF 7/94. Eventually became N14024 with Continental Micronesia 2/97. Stored at Mojave 3/99. Later blown up by a controlled dynamite detonation by the Discovery Channel. [Kodachrome 64]

I enjoy the classic CO livery and the Gulf War ribbon. This 747 was obviously used in CRAF missions to bring troops home from the Persian Gulf War. I also enjoy seeing a CO 747 at Orly airport, before they were forced to move to CDG.
