This is my jump seat flight from Amsterdam to Heathrow as Flight KL1013. This particular aircraft has an inop APU. This means engine No.1 has already been started prior to push back, This is to give engine No.2 a source of bleed air when the aircraft is out on the taxiway. Saves time dragging an Air Start machine and a Ground Power Unit out to the aircraft. The check list can be seen just in front of the throttle.
