"Endeavour" departs Earth at 0414H EST on STS-130 to the ISS. Here the orbiter plus her external tank and two solid rocket booster are a few seconds into the acceleration and trajectory that will put her into orbit. She is begining her roll to the right that will have her upside down and climbing to attain the 51.6 orbital insertion angle. The tremendous release of energy from the SRBs and the engines turns the night into day for miles around! [Canon 1Ds Mk II;ISO 250;1/640;600mm;2X].
