The lift of the space shuttle orbiter began on the night of the 09/09 and extended into the early morning hours of 09/10. Here she is being rotated and lifted up. She will be further carried to the top and the rotated slightly before being moved horizontaly into the high bay that has the external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters for the upcoming STS-133. She will then be brought back down a bit to be bolted on the side of the rest of the stack. It is long, slow and precise crane operation by the best.
