The same two aircraft except for the pilots of the CRJ900 make half of what the DC-9 pilots make. Makes sense right? Most of the flying public has no idea how low first officers are paid. The CRJ900 co-pilot makes $20,000 yearly.

Great comparison shot. On a side note regarding those 900 right seaters: Half the Experience(or more like 1/20th the experience) Half the Pay....
