In this perspective of view, the A380 looks way shorter than the B747. The very obvious thing we can see is that the entire logo on the A380 vertical tail sits perfectly unlike the B747 tail logo and the B747 engine can easily fit in the A380's engine. Wonderful shot!

The tail logos are different, Wunala Dreaming has the old tail logo where the A380 has the new logo. Brilliant photo. Still top 3 on my list for my most enjoyable flights ever MEL - LAX with Qantas.

A couple of Aussies in America. You can almost imagine they're saying "I still call Australia home". It's a great photo, because of the way it clearly shows the relative size of the two giants from the flying kangaroo, my airline of choice.

The A380 is longer. Isn't it funny how things get smaller when they are further away. I think it's called perspective

Hey guys ... don't forget that one wing of this two beast is approx 40 meters ! it mean that the distance between the B744 and the A380 is toward 100 meters ! this is why it seam that the 747 is larger ! ... email posted by a french, fan of french technologie and proud of his counry ... vive la FRANCE !

Beauty and the Beast! The scale of the A380 just doesn't work for me while the 747 will always be the lady of the skies in my eyes. This is really a wonderful shot and thank you!!

A380 = 72.7 meters / 747-400ER = 70.6 meters / 747-800 = 76.3 meters. Looking at this great shot the 380 does appear to be shorter. This just gives you an idea of the size of the 380. I have yet to see one but I have seen the 747-800 fuselage in the Boeing plant.
