Halfway during the climb (enroute Singapore - London on SQ318) this phenomenon happened. According to Brian Gore: It is fuel being jetisoned from the 747-400 spill over tank. This sometimes happens when the fuel tanks are topped off for a very long flight - especially in humid weather conditions. This is normal. There is a v-shaped fuel jettsion port underneath both wingtips - the fuel is cross fed out of the opposite wing's surge tanks. Photo 1 of 2
