Transavia 737 takes off for a steep climb. As a youngster I spent a lot of time at the “Kaagbaan”. When I first saw a 737 landing there (Lufthansa) Transavia still had its thundering Caravelles which were appropriately called T-bird. Transavia had a thing with loudness, because their first aircraft ever were the beautifully roaring DC-6’s, also named T-bird. Sad to say that in 1986 propliner music was already becoming a relic of the past.
