This year being the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain has seen the RAF paint two Tucano's in markings worn by Spitfire Sqn's in 1940. Seen here is QJ-F, which was operated by No. 92 Squadron & flown by Charles 'Kingpin' Kingcombe DFC. DSO. (11 Kills). A connection with Biggin Hill is that Charles Kingcombe was returning to Biggin Hill 15/10/1940 when he was shot down in Spitfire X4418, He baled out safely.
