Although this Swordfish wears the markings of P4139, it's actually HS618. Built in 1943 by Blackburn, the Swordfish is a torpedo spotter reconnaissance aircraft powered by a Bristol Pegasus XXX 750hp engine and can be fixed with one synchronised Browning gun forward and one Lewis or Vickers K gun aft. In addition, one 18in 1,610lb torpedo or one 1,500lb below the fuselage, or 1,500lb Bombs or eight 60lb rocket projectiles. On display in Hall 2 at the Fleet Air Arm Museum (Canon 50D + 24-105 F/4 L)
