United 225 heavy from ORD is seen wearing old colors high over the numbers attempting to land runway 27. An attempt that ended in a miss approach & go-around. This aircraft was the MD-10 test bed. First flight was December 20, 1973. Delivery date was February 13, 1974. Built as DC-10-10, cvt'd to DC-10-10(F) freighter, & again cvt'd to MD-10-10F freighter. Wears FN 3421 with United Airlines. To Fedex as N386FE named "T J" wearing FN 386. Stored at VCV (Victorville) on March 15, 2013 as N386FE.
