Delivered new to Lufthansa in 1965 as D-ABIM. An unexpected visitor seen here with this new white/maroon colour scheme. Way back in 1999 this B727 executive jet was in a hurricane at Le Bourget and damaged the belly skins after being lifted and impalled on a fence. The belly skins were replaced after maintenance by ATC Lasham on July 26, 2003. *** One can note the mismatched nose cone, from the colour scheme it gives an indication that maybe it was borrowed from Libyan Arab Airlines as a replacement part.
