This Hawker Sea Fury originally saw service in the Iraq Air Force and was known in New Zealand as the "Baghdad Fury". It originally arrived in New Zealand in the late 1980s and was flown by Rob Booth of the Auckland Warbirds, but is now resident in Australia. The 18 cylinder double-row Bristol Centaurus sleeve valve radial piston engine develops 2550hp and makes the Sea Fury the worlds fastest prop-driven aircraft with a top speed of 460mph.
