Thanks for posting a great shot of this beautiful airplane! I was part of the crew that built it in 1980. This shot shows off the clean lines and unique features of this final Bill Lear aircraft. The real uniqueness of the design is the materials. Graphite/Epoxy structure for fuselage, wing and empennage; kevlar/epoxy control surfaces and propeller; two turboshaft engines imbedded in the fuselage with two graphite/epoxy drive shafts turning one gearbox and prop.
