An American registered 1969 Cherokee Six is seen here arriving at the Mission Aviation Fellowship charity fly-in at Croft Farm. Pilot Richard Beath deliberately landed as short as possible in order to maximise the landing run available for this relatively high-performance aeroplane at the short strip; it is seen skimming the crop on the approach, its wheels just clear of the ground and corn flying everywhere.
