At the 10th of July 2002 this aircraft landed on a former military airfield near Berlin cause of a heavy thunderstorm going down over Germany. Most airports were already closed. So the Cpt. decided to go down on that good looking airfield down there. What they noticed after touchdown was a barrier of sand over the whole width of the runway. The owner placed that to prevent teens from speeding on the runway. Loss of the complete undercarriage and structural damage. This wasn't marked on the charts!

There is something a little strange or unusual about these shots. It may be the aircraft, its attitude, POV, perspective, wierd arrival/departure or something else out of the ordinary.
