on final for runway 25. It was manufactured at Castle Bromwich, England in 1945 and delivered to the RAF Fighter Command on August 29th. It was designated for Air Chief Marshall Sir James M. Robb as Commander-In-Chief of Air Forces in Western Europe and Commander-In-Chief of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (S.H.A.E.F.)(later became NATO) and became known as the "Five Star Spitfire"
