Making a steep climb after liftoff from runway 08R, this Hawaii-based C-17 suddenly makes a sharp right bank to avoid overflying downtown Honolulu. The belly of the C-17 nicely catches the rays of the early morning sun. The main landing gear pods are also clearly visible, which looks quite big from this angle!
