What a treat to finally catch the CO's bird from the Vikings! VMFA(AW)-225. Heres a little information on this bird... This Hornet used to fly with VMFA(AW)-121. On March 19, 2003, it was the first aircraf to drop a bomb on Iraq during Operation: Iraqi Freedom. It hit a target called "Saphron Hill."
