Mfd 1969, del 08/06/69, former N987PS (PSA), just airborne from Rwy 31. Notice the "blow-in doors" opened. They are designed to suck more air into the engines for an enhanced air to fuel burn ratio. The blow-in doors can be found on early (sixties and seventies) examples of Pratt & Whitney turbofans. Thanks to David Salas for this explanation.
