Your help in finding a good poll is very much appreciated. A large percentage of our polls start out as suggestions from our users. Please note the following:

• The poll should be of general interest. We have users from all over the world and the poll should be understandable and relevant for everyone.

• The poll should be very short to fit on the frontpage. "Favorite Australian Airline:" is good, "What Is Your Favorite Australian Airline That This And That And So On" is no good.

• You must include all the poll selections, not just the poll question! The smallest number of selections is two and the biggest is 10.

• There must be a valid reason for including the poll selections you choose. For instance, in a poll about "Favorite Latin American Airline" you cannot simply choose your 10 favorite Latin American airlines as selections, the selections must be carefully chosen by some criteria. You can for instance choose the biggest airlines (in passenger miles or whatever) or the "flag carriers" or similar. In your poll suggestion email you should include what criteria you used to choose the selections.

• Be creative. Just because the examples here are for "What's Your Favorite..." kind of polls, does not mean that we don't like other types. You can do a poll about anything aviation related as long as it complies to the first rule above.

• Check the old polls so that you don't suggest one that's the same or very similar.

• No, we won't do "Airbus vs Boeing" so you can stop submitting that
