| Other info: | I was born with Treacher Collins syndrome (a rare craniofacial syndrome); I was born with no ears, eyesockets, chin, or palate, and with a very narrow throat. 20+ surgeries have rebuilt my face since birth, and I use an implantable hearing aid. I have been studying craniofacial embryology at King's College London in the UK, and will begin my PhD at UCSF (in San Francisco) this fall in the same field. I am currently writing my autobiography, "The Pancake Kid". I grew up in a big family (10 of us kids, all adopted).
