N5588N / 57 (cn 6167) Only 5 of these planes were ever built, and this is the only airworthy one left. It was assigned Navy BuNo 88458 in 1945, which is construction 6167, but uses the BuNo 88457, construction 6166, and same registration number as another identical F2G that crashed in 1945. The number "57" on the side was its number in the National Air Races for which it won. |

VH-KLU This one comes from the Land Down Under, still carrying the Australian flag & registration. I wonder how they crossed the Pacific in this little Airvan? Distance from the Latrobe Airport to Oshkosh is about 9,000 miles. |

N752AN / 7BL (cn 30260/339) American's flag ship, slowly coming to a stop on RWY 12 threshold. Also in desperate need of a cleaning. That day provided me with some interesting pictures as some of the aircraft vacated off the runway pretty late. Allowing me to see what lies covered. Also those huge RR engines really look great on this silver bird, would not mind seeing some GE-90s. |

68-15354 (cn 10284) UH-1 performing and giving the crowd a real treat at Homestead 2009. Seems like a real Vietnam Era Battle scene. Beautiful and outstanding performance by the the crew and ground crew as well. Dedicated to all the crew and soldiers who flew these missions in Vietnam. |

N424AA (cn 49336/1321) En route to Seattle from Chicago, after the amazing Oshkosh air show. In the distant we see Mt. Rainier before turning short final into Seattle. Not only was the scenery special, but this is probably my last flight on a Mad dog, since they do not fly into Miami. What a rush to fly in these planes and the power that they have during takeoff. |

80-0173 / DM (cn A10-0523) Staring down the barrel of one of the Air Force's deadliest weapons. The A10's 30mm gatling gun can fire 3,900 rounds per minute of high expolsive or armor-piercing ammo, and the A10 can carry Maverick and Sidewinder missles. |
