VH-XXV photographed at Canberra (Fairbairn) (CBR / YSCB) on Mar 11 by Wolodymir Nelowkin. Australian War Memorial's B-25J Mitchell light bomber in the rain at Canberra Airport in March 1984. (It took an Airshow to break the drought!) This aircraft was built in 1944 for the USAAF as 44-86791, Cn 108-47545, was later Registered as N8196H. She was painted to represent WWII RAAF 2 Squadron B-25 A47-31 (Code KO-P). Unfortunately the AWM 'disposed of' this B-25J, which is now in the Yanks Air Museum, Chino, California (now Regd N6116X).
