The a/c had earlier arrived from Tupolev with just a crew and KGB officer as escort onboard. This a/c was w/o as EP-MCF on 01/09/2006 at Mashad Airport (MHD/OIMM), Iran. It crashed on landing and caught fire, reportedly skidding off the runway after a tyre burst.

Photo taken from taxying RAAF Boeing 707-338C(KC) A20-624, after the AAR Tanker carried out a cross-wind landing at Mascot, as part of the AAR modification flight trials. An Alitalia aircraft was the First Boeing 747 to land at Canberra Airport, in 1977. The plane was transiting SYD-MEL, and did an emergency diversion after an engine failure. Qantas delivered the replacement engine, doing a '5 Engine' B747 Rescue.
