Czech Republic - Air Force Aero L-39ZA Albatros

On the occasion of 40th anniversary of the first flight of L-39 Albatros type, was one aircraft from 221. tl (tactical squadron) from homebase Namest nad Oslavou celebratory painted. On the left side of fin wears portrait of Mr. Jan Vlcek - chief design engineer of L-39 development programme and on the right side of the tail wears marking of this symbolical bird. This 2433 already departing from Hradec Kralove after CIAF 2009.

Untitled (International Air Response) Douglas DC-7B

N4887C photographed at Coolidge - Municipal (P08) on Jul 31 by Fred Seggie - WorldAirImages. Built in 1957 this Classic Dc7 was converted into a Fire Water Bomber and painted into basic Delta Airlines colours minus the titles. It was not Airworthy at the time we visited but there were plans to get it airbourne again in the near future.
