It is the original VH UOD Genairco C/N 14 that took off from the "Bull Paddock" (Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport) in June 1930. Ten examples of this aircraft were manufactured at Mascot, 3 are still in existence, 2 open and 1 cabin version. VH UOD is the only one in the world flying - Festival of Flight 'The Vintage Experience' 2009

'Riama' heading home to Caboolture for the night with its support crew after the first day of the 'Festival of Flight'. This beautiful aircraft would return the following morning to delight the gathered crowd. Built in 1934.

Australia - Air Force De Havilland Canada DHC-4A Caribou

A4-225 photographed at Watts Bridge (- Memorial) (YWSG) on Apr 18 by Craig Murray. (Del 6/65) idling away on Rwy 30 while the Loadmaster discussed a suitable parking area with the airfield staff at the Queensland Vintage Aeroplane Group's "Festival of Flight 2007". Upon reaching the designated spot the main wheels started to bog so the mighty 'Bou was given a healthy dose of throttle and moved back out onto the Runway and made a departure back to RAAF Amberley. Aircraft is operated by 38 Squadron.

Ex RAAF A85-438 where it saw service with No.1 Basic Flying Training School (1BFTS) at Uranquinty and also with 76SQN based at Williamtown in a Forward Air Control role until 1990 when it was replaced by the much more capable Pilatus PC-9.
