Untitled
Aero Commander 100-180 Lark Commander
Off-Airport - Burlington
USA - Vermont, April 14, 2014
Remark
Photographer
N4044X (cn 5144) This aircraft was de-registered 25 years ago and I know nothing about its history since then. However, given that this piece is now sitting outside of a custom lighting fabrication shop it appears that it will end up as something a bit more noble than drink cans.

Untitled
Aero Commander 100 Commander 100
Zagreb - Pleso (ZAG / LDZA)
Croatia, July 14, 2013
Remark
Photographer
D-ENKU (cn 10A-128) The GA highlight of the morning taking on fuel during a tech stop. One of the lesser-known members of the famous Aero Commander family, the 100 looks like a cross between a Mooney and a Cessna 172 - and was indeed designed to compete with the latter. Built in 1967 and powered by the same O-320 160 HP engine as the Skyhawk, D-ENKU is one of the few 100s still flying - and one of the very few located in Europe.
