Virgin Atlantic Airways
Airbus A340-311

Remark

G-VSEA (cn 003) Virgin A343 departing heavy off 25L. This was back when they had a second daily daytime service between London/Heathrow and Hong Kong. The A343s have almost been phased out of the fleet, with just 2 aircraft currently remaining. G-VSEA has been stored since July 2011.

Royal Jordanian Airline
Airbus A340-212
Frankfurt am Main (Rhein-Main AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF)
Germany, October 15, 2014
Remark
Photographer
JY-AIA (cn 038) Quite an interesting visitor for some reasons: First, it is quite rare to see an RJ widebody in FRA these days and then it is even harder to see an A340-200. As a matter of bad timing a few clouds came up, but there was a little light left. RJ's livery is a classic in my opinion.

Remark

JY-AID (cn 022) The soon to be retired Royal Jordanian A340-200 is absolutely amazing in terms of legroom and recline. Not only it goes 180 degrees flat, it also boast 5 windows each row. Seems RJ really looked after their planes, it was a pleasure onboard their Crown Class. [Nikon D800]

Emirates
Airbus A340-313
Hong Kong - International (Chek Lap Kok) (HKG / VHHH)
China - Hong Kong, October 12, 2014
Remark
Photographer
A6-ERP (cn 185) The A340-300s are one of a number of types we get from Emirates Airlines, and personally for me, the most interesting. A6-ERP, which was delivered to EK in March 2004, is originally an ex-Singapore Airlines bird and is photographed operating the early morning nonstop EK387 service to Dubai.
