G-APIM (cn 412) Looking somewhat close to its 51 years of age, this old Viscount, built here at Brooklands, is one of the complete static displays here at the museum. |

HK-1708 (cn 138) Written off in 1991, this Viscount was donated by Intercontinental de Aviacion (non-existant since 2004) to Comfama park in Rionegro (1 hour drive from Medellin), where it still survives as part of the park's amusement setup. Very nice classic cockpit of the first turboprop! |

G-APIM (cn 412) Flight deck of this preserved Viscount which was rescued from Southend Airport in 1990 by the Brooklands Museum. The entire nose section had earlier been destroyed at Southend when a runaway Shorts 330 (G-BHWT) collided with the Viscount on the ground. She actually holds the honour of being the only airliner to have ever travelled UNDER the River Thames! |
