OO-IAK What a lovely birthdaypresent. As an oldtimer enthousiast and fan of russian build planes, this was a very nice experience! Thanks to Eric for this birthday present. In the first Yak-18 you can see Jean-Michel Legrand, in the second Yak-18 you have Jean-benoit Gonalons and in the Yak-52 you can see Jerome van der Schaar. |

OO-IAK One of the loyal participants whenever we organise a photoflight. Owned by Jean-Michel Legrand this yak-18 is here presented to our PhotoCrew flying in the Skyvan photoship during the Chipmeet. The same location, the airfield of Zoersel, will host in 2010 our first edition of the Photoflying Days, lots of fun guaranteed. Unfortunately I cannot include the sound in this picture, this type has a very specific noise. |

The aircraft, Named 'Lilya', was imported from Kazakhstan in 2004. Unfortunately, the aircraft experienced engine problems on 03Dec09 and the pilot/owner carried out a forced landing in a paddock at Crows Nest, near Kingaroy QLD. The pilot and passenger were unhurt, but the aircraft was extensively damaged when it struck a barbed wire fence. |
