G-AREK (cn 10365/5) Originally delivered to the USAAF on 3rd August 1944 as 42-72260 a C-54A. It was converted to a Carvair at Southend in 1962, it's first flight as a Carvair was on 2nd November of that year. Seen here at Southend in storage after withdrawal from service by British Air Ferries / Pauling. It crashed at Griffin, Georgia on 4th April 1997 whilst operating with Custom Air Service.

G-ASKG (cn 10382/10) slide scan from the NK slide collection. This Carvair was sold to Africa a year later. Last seen in storage at Kinshasa as 9Q-CTI in 1995, it was broken up shortly afterwards.

EI-AMP (cn 7480/6) Ex USAAF C-54A Skymaster 42-107461. Converted to Carvair in late 1962 serving Aer Lingus from February 1963. The fleet was retired in mid 1967 and EI-AMP (nearest) is in storage at Dublin with EI-AMR and EI-ANJ.
