Untitled
Avro 698 Vulcan B2
Glasgow - Prestwick (PIK / EGPK)
UK - Scotland, September 6, 2014
Remark
Photographer
G-VLCN / XH558 (cn SET12) For a brief 2 hour period on the following day, this, the worlds only flying Vulcan and the worlds two flying Lancasters, could be seen at the same airport together. Sadly the Vulcans flying days are limited and this may be the penultimate year of operations. Logistics dictate that this combination will never take place again. The emphasis on the event was on quality rather than quantity. I, for one, was delighted to see and photograph all three aircraft.
