G-BEJD (cn 1543) Blackpool Airports aviaition graveyard on the north side of runway 28. G-BEJD sits alongside G-SSWO, a Shorts 360 awaiting to be scrapped. We may be drinking beer from the remnants of these aircraft sometime soon! All Emerald Airways aircraft were grounded after their air opperators certificate was revoked on 4th May 2006. Some have been baught by other airlines and started a new life, many will end up like this (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG)

G-BEJD (cn 1543) A sad sight on a dismall day in Blackpool. This old bird, built in 1961 is confined to a remote parking area at the end of runway 25 since Emerald Air's air opperators certificate was revoked in May 2006 and the company went in to liquidation (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG)
