LV-MZM (cn 187) Preserved at Morón AFB. This aircraft flew for many years with Austral. His last flight was on 30/Nov/1993 as AU840 between Aeroparque-Mar de Plata-Aeroparque. After that it made a 12 min flight to Morón and was donated to INAC (Civil aviation National Institute). Nowadays is very well preserved with Air Conditioning and lights inside. LV-MZM (cn 187) - Still alive! Rest in Moron with an hibryd colours of CIATA, but this plane belongs to Austral Lineas Aereas for a long, long time, when he retired from service was donate to INAC for training purpouses. I still remember when this one operate in Aeroparque with his noise engines. Close view of his entire wingspan. (Olympus C765UZ)

LV-MZM (cn 187) This is one out of 15 BAC One-Eleven flown by Austral from the late 1960s until the early 1990s. I had the pleasure to fly in one of them back in 1991. Now LV-MZM serves training purposes at CIATA/INAC. I still remember the incredibly noisy Rolls Royce Spey turbofan engines of the Austral 1-11s. Good old days…!!

D-ALAR (cn 207) Crashed 06/09/71. Shortly after take-off from Hamburg both engines quit. A forced landing was carried out on the Hamburg-Kiel Autobahn. The aircraft collided with a bridge, causing both wings to be sheared off. The 1-11 burnt out.
