Howard Hughes's personal cabin.Now with original Raymond Loewy designed furniture and fittings featured in the salon next to the original bar that Rita Hayworth had custom windows installed so she could see the clouds go by while she poured martinis for many famous guests.

NC1940 / 401 (cn 1998) First flew in early 1940 as NX19906, and reregistered that year as NC1940 to match year of construction. Served on US coast-to-coast services. TWA flew 5 of the 10 307s built. Impressed as C-75 42-88623. Returned to TWA in 1945 as NC19906. Used on US regional services. Sold in 1951 to Aigle Azur as F-BELU. From TWA 60 years ago.

NC19903 (cn 2003) NC19903 poses for the camera over Mount Rainier, Washington, before delivery to Pan Am in 1940. This early pressurised airliner, of which only 10 were built, was then deployed on the airline's South American routes. TWA used theirs for transcontinental services. This aircraft is now preserved in the museum at IAD. Obtained from PAA 60 years ago.

NC19903 (cn 2003) First flown in 1938, the Boeing 307 was the first airliner with a pressurized fuselage. It could transport 33 passengers in great comfort and cruise at 6,096 meters (20,000 feet), while maintaining a cabin pressure of 2,438 meters (8,000 feet). The Stratoliner incorporated the wings, tail and engines of the Boeing B-17C bomber. Ten Stratoliners were built. This one was flown by Pan American as the Clipper Flying Cloud.
