This still happens at Brisbane for Virgin Blue and QantasLink customers.) VH-ANF was delivered to Ansett on 22Jul1981, and was leased to East West Jan 92-Dec93. VH-RMX (cn 20551/1054) Rare photo of Ansett Air Freight Boeing 727-277 Freighter VH-RMX (with Cargo Door open) at Canberra Airport. Photo taken during the Canberra Air Pageant held in March 1988, when the aircraft was open for public viewing. This aircraft was operated by Independent Air Freighters (IAF) as VH-RMX in 2002, and then by AaE as VH-VLG in 2003. This aircraft was Delivered to Ansett Airlines as a passenger aircraft on 18Jul1974, and flew her last passenger service on 31Mar1983. Her freight career began on 17Jan1984. |
